Therapy With Tasneem

Therapy for Teens

Sometimes things can feel confusing or overwhelming, especially during the teenage years. You might feel stressed, anxious, low, or unsure about yourself. Many teens face pressure from school, friendships, family, or social media. You may find yourself overthinking or feeling like no one really understands. This is a space where you can talk about what’s on your mind, in your own way, without feeling judged. You don’t have to explain everything perfectly. We simply start with what you are feeling right now.

For some, the idea of the best online therapy for teens feels easier, as it allows them to talk from a place where they feel more comfortable. Sometimes difficult experiences from the past can also affect how teens feel emotionally, which is why support through trauma therapy may be helpful in certain situations. If deeper emotional support is needed, sessions similar to individual therapy can also help teens better understand their thoughts and feelings.

If this feels right for you, you can reach out when you are ready.

Best Online Therapy for Teens

Sometimes it feels easier to talk from your own space, especially when meeting in person feels uncomfortable or overwhelming. Many teens carry a lot inside them — stress from school, pressure from family, feeling misunderstood, loneliness, overthinking, or worrying about the future. Sometimes even small things can start to feel very heavy. Online therapy can help you talk about these feelings in a simple and safe way, without pressure or judgment. The aim is to help you feel a little lighter, more understood, and less alone in what you are going through.

Individual Therapy for Teens

Some days just feel too heavy for no clear reason. School feels stressful, people feel hard to deal with, and even small things can start to feel overwhelming. In individual therapy for teens, we talk about what’s going on in your world in a way that feels simple and safe. Nothing needs to be perfect or fully explained. Many teens come when they feel stuck in their thoughts, disconnected from others, or like they are carrying too much inside but don’t know how to say it out loud. We take things slowly, so you can start to make sense of what you’re feeling without pressure.

Healthier Relationships

I often see teens who feel confused in their relationships. You might want to connect with others, but at the same time feel misunderstood, hurt, or unsure how to express yourself. In therapy, I help you look at these experiences more closely so you can understand what is happening in your relationships and how it is affecting you. We talk about things like communication, boundaries, and how you respond when things feel difficult. There is no blame — just space to understand yourself and others better. Over time, this can help you feel more confident, more steady, and more comfortable in your relationships.

Any Questions

I work with people who are navigating many of life’s challenges, with a particular focus on trauma and anxiety. I also support clients who may be experiencing depression, stress, grief and loss, or difficulties in their relationships. For some, it may be struggles with low self-esteem or a sense of feeling stuck in life, while for others it’s about wanting to grow personally and build healthier ways of coping. Whatever you are facing, my aim is to offer a safe, supportive space where you can begin to explore your experiences, understand yourself more deeply, and move towards healing and change.
Yes, I work with both the Muslim community and the wider UK community. My approach is inclusive, respectful, and sensitive to cultural and faith-based values, while also welcoming clients from all backgrounds, beliefs, and walks of life. I understand that each person’s experiences are shaped by their identity, culture, and environment, and I aim to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and accepted. Whether you’re seeking therapy that acknowledges your faith and cultural context, or simply a safe, supportive place to explore your challenges, you are warmly welcome here.
Scheduling an appointment is easy. You can reach out to me via the contact form on this website, by email, phone, or WhatsApp. I offer a free 20-minute consultation so we can get to know each other a little, talk about what brings you to therapy, and decide together if we’re the right fit. From there, we can arrange a time for your first session, either online or in person, depending on what feels most comfortable for you. If you have any questions before booking, please feel free to get in touch. I’ll be happy to help.
As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I draw on a range of different therapy approaches to suit your individual needs. This means that rather than using a ‘one-size-fits-all’ method, I tailor our work together to what feels most helpful for you. My practice includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Transactional Analysis, as well as the Gottman Method for relationship work. Each of these approaches offers unique tools for healing, self-understanding, and growth, and together we can explore which ones best support your journey.
Sessions are held in a way that works best for you. I offer a limited number of face-to-face appointments, as well as online sessions via Zoom and phone sessions if you prefer. Each session lasts 1 hour, and together we can decide on a pace that feels right for you whether that’s weekly or fortnightly. This flexibility means you can choose the format and frequency that best supports your needs, while always having a supportive and confidential space to focus on your wellbeing.
Sessions are priced between £80 and £120 per hour, depending on the length of the session and whether they include EMDR. We can discuss the options during your free 20-minute consultation so you have a clear idea of what feels right for you before starting therapy. My aim is to make the process as transparent as possible, so you know exactly what to expect.
